Current internships advertised
- Graphic Design Intern - Fall
Novinity is looking for it's
next great intern for the Fall season. We are searching
for a graphic designer with experience in industry
standard tools (i.e. - Adobe CS2, Macromedia Studio
MX 2004, & both Mac and Windows platforms).
In addition to the tools, this individual must
possess extreme creativity and in-depth knowledge
in conceptualization, branding strategies, advertising,
and all-around project management (Illustration
skills a big +).
Novinity, is a small agency. We
work tough and quick deadlines for great clients.
Projects range from screen based media to traditional
print. If you feel you have what it takes and are
up for a truly challenging, and rewarding experience,
please email 5 of your top samples and your resume
all in PDF format to cmurray@novinity.com
Don't forget to list a brief summary of what the
design task was for each sample submitted and what
your role was on that project.
Intern will assist
Senior art director on a daily basis with concept
creation, Jr. art direction, and client/project management.
This position is non-paying. However, we can promise
you a thorough experience in all aspects of the industry
with hard work and a willingness to learn. Novinity
is looking to fill this internship soon so if you
are interested, please submit your stuff ASAP! Ideally,
we are looking for someone willing and able to work
30+ hrs/week. We will consider telecommuters in the
Columbus area ONLY (must have good home set-up and
reliable transportation in case of a meeting), but
in-house is preferred.
We are excited and eager to
view your work samples.

Internships
are available during the Spring Quarter of the junior
year for students majoring in Industrial, Interior,
and Visual Communication Design. Only one internship
is permitted during the student's undergraduate education
although special permission may be obtained from their
faculty area coordinator for additional internships.
Students who are interested in participating in the
internship program are advised to speak to their area
coordinator or they may see the academic counselor.
Companies require students to submit cover letters with resumes in addition to
portfolios during the interview process. The academic counselor maintains files
of potential employers and students are advised to review these folders for their
internships. The academic counselor assists the students with the hiring process
and their class scheduling during their internship.
Internships are available in all three majors:
