Susan Metros

In addition to her faculty appointment in Design,
Professor Metros serves as the university’s Deputy Chief Information
Officer and Executive Director for eLearning. As Deputy CIO, she is responsible
for leading the academic community in appropriately using technology-enhanced
teaching and learning, both on campus and at a distance. In her role
as educator and designer, she teaches within the department and has served
as principal designer on several international award winning interactive
multimedia and Web-based projects. She is also active on numerous boards,
committees and task forces and has published and presented widely on
the role of eLearning in transforming education to be sharable, engaging,
interactive and learner-centered.
