Undergraduate Admissions Policy
 

Admission for all undergraduate applicants to the Department of Industrial, Interior and Visual Communication Design is based on a competitive evaluation of the candidates potential design skills. All candidates will complete the Department's Entrance Exam, which includes the following:

-Student background questionnaire
-Supplementary portfolio
-Student advising record
-Student agreement
-Personal statement
-Department curriculum schedule
-Resume (extracurricular information)
-Submittal checklist
-Visual test material
-Selection of an undergraduate major

The Department faculty will review the completed exams and select the students for admission.

Please note: all international students must achieve a 550 or higher TOEFL score.

The Department accepts only approximately 54 undergraduate students each year, equally divided into approximately 18 students for each major.
