Briefly, each person who applies
for admission to the Graduate School may apply simultaneously
for a Fellowship or traineeship, or an associateship
in the Department. The single set
of application materials, which may be obtained
from the [ Admissions
Office ], will be coordinated by the
Admissions Office with the Department and the Graduate
School.
The deadline for University Fellowship and traineeship
applications is November 28th. The Department of
Industrial, Interior, and Visual Communication Design
recommends
completed applications for Departmental associateships
to be filed by November 28th.
In order to be considered for a Fellowship or an associateship,

by the Graduate School through a competitive review process,
and associateships are awarded by the Department depending
on its need and available funds.
